Long Version

Hello, my name is Shawn Biddle and I'm a PHP Developer. *whew* There, I said it. They say the hardest part is admitting you have a problem. So yes, I am a PHP developer and have been for about 4 years. I've been programming for round about 8 years. I started programming in C, migrated to C++ (Which is still, admittedly, my favorite) and then learned PHP as the need came about. PHP came pretty naturally coming from a similar syntax so I picked up on it pretty quickly and could probably say at this point that I know the language better than I do C or C++ (Which I don't particularly like.) This has caused me to become a bit bitter to some things I wish were in PHP (operator overloading, strict typing, namespaces[done right, not the backslash bullshit], pointers[if you tell me & creates a pointer I will laugh at you]).
